The Actual Dance, is a true story, reflecting Sam’s actual experience as the love-partner, the husband, to his wife now of 54 years, -- though the play takes place 19 year ago, when they were married only 33 years. Susan, his wife, was diagnose with advance breast cancer and as you will experience in the show, there are many ups and downs for both of them. The story can be sad at times, and spoiler alert – it does have a happy ending! Please don’t get discouraged!

Paying attention to what’s happening inside you, thoughts, emotions and body sensations, in the present moment can make all the difference. MBSR tools and techniques are accessible to all individuals, no matter the age and physical ability. Guided meditation, gentle movement and stretching and small group discussion are experienced in each of the eight week classes. Facilitated by licensed professional, Jan Miller LPC, you will be supported in any way you need throughout your journey.
