Sue Fabian Series: Funeral Consumerism & Pre-Planning
Time

Pre-planning your funeral is truly your last gift to your loved ones. This workshop will help you walk into any funeral home with basic knowledge of the traps that siphon your hard-earned dollars. I will also discuss alternatives to traditional funerals and propose a basic layout for a service. Handouts of the presentation will be available along with a one-page pre-planning document to let your heirs know of your preferences. A chart will also be provided to help you cost-compare in shopping around. All adults are encouraged to engage in this planning as part of your basic estate planning. Remember, what you do not do now gets dumped in the laps of your loved ones at the moment of their deepest suffering.
