Cancer Transitions® is a free 1½-hour, four-week workshop designed to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Expert panelists include a Master Level Social Worker, dietician, and fitness expert who will discuss exercise tailored to the participant’s abilities. This course will also cover training in relaxation, stress management and tips for nutritious eating. While each session focuses on a specific skill set and topic, group support and reflective exercises are also incorporated into every session. (We ask that you commit to attending all 4 sessions).

You will discover that far from being selfish, self-compassion is an essential ingredient of healthy relationships. You will receive a workbook of class materials and resources. First, Medicare is the federally sponsored program that provides medical care beginning at age 65, or earlier if disabled as defined under Social Security regulations. Medicaid is both federally and state sponsored, and provides health care to the financially needy.
